is an experienced, independent service provider specialising
in routine preventative maintenance programmes and non-routine
maintenance, repair and refurbishment for a range of
pressure control equipment such as wellheads, Christmas trees,
valves, actuators and associated control and monitoring equipment
including 'healthcare' and 'total valve management' programmes.
EDECO
has over 35 years of experience in providing these specialist
services to the oil and gas industry both offshore in the
North Sea and Irish Sea and for onshore terminals, production
facilities and pipelines in Western Europe.
These services are offered world-wide through various group
companies and associates.
The services of EDECO
are directed at maintaining the operational integrity of production
and product transmission systems to minimise the overall operating
costs by avoiding lost production and adverse safety and environmental
implications resulting from unplanned shutdowns or failures
of critical components of systems.
The services include:
- Category
1 : Routine on line or in situ preventative maintenance
programmes for wellheads, Christmas trees and production
valves, which can be carried out with minimal operational
disruption on a regular routine basis either 'as required'
or through managed programmes
- Category
2 : Non-routine maintenance and repair of components
and complete assemblies, which can be carried out on location
or in field or local base workshops
- Category
3 : Organisation, specification, supervision and management
of major equipment refurbishment programmes or replacement
if inspection of the component indicates severe damage or
mechanical failure that cannot be readily repaired.
EDECO
specialises in Category 1 and 2 services for all types and
makes of equipment, but can also manage Category 3 cases on
behalf of customers.
These services can be supported by the EDECO
Production Integrity Management System (PIMS) database for long term contracts or alliance relationships.
